| Steve Feld of the Cave Creek / Carefree Chamber of Commerce had scheduled a candidate forum on October 5 for Carefree Town Council runoff candidates Sharon P Smith and Ted Taylor. Carefree Unity had planned to send a summary of their comments to our readers, but Mr. Taylor failed to confirm his availability for that date and the event was canceled. Instead, we share an interview with Dr. Smith that was conducted recently by Vince D’Aliesio. Sharon shares her qualifications and positions in a conversation that is wide ranging and covers many of the issues relevant to Carefree voters. The total recording is about 20 minutes, and the interview starts at about the 2½ minute mark. Click here to watch Carefree Unity 10/7/2026 |
