Scottsdale Road Improvement Updates

From City of Scottsdale April 15 Update

Impacts of the April 8 Scottsdale City Council decision to replace the previously planned roundabout at Dynamite and Scottsdale Road with a signalized intersection have not yet been completely identified.  Construction impacts will be announced at a later time.

Starting the evening of April 22 and extending into August, a concrete barrier will be set along Scottsdale Road from just north of Mark Lane to just south of Dixileta Drive.  There will be no access to Dale Lane, Peak View Road, and Morning Vista Lane on the west side of Scottsdale Road.  Detour signage will be in place.  Other intersections will remain open, though left turns will not be allowed onto Dixileta Drive for either northbound or southbound Scottsdale Road traffic.

Starting on April 24 and extending into September, a concrete barrier will be set along Scottsdale Road from just north of Jomax Road to Oberlin Way.  There will be no access to Redbird and Pinnacle Vista on the west side of Scottsdale Road.  Jomax Road and Dynamite Boulevard will remain open, though left turns will not be allowed onto Jomax Road for either northbound or southbound Scottsdale Road traffic.
