The 4.1-mile section of Pima Road between Las Piedras and Cave Creek Road is scheduled for improvement and expansion within the next five years. Pima is a major arterial road into Carefree, and the section from Stagecoach Pass to Cave Creek Road is within the Carefree town limits. The study portion of this project will conclude within several months. Today, June 26 at 5:00-7:00 pm, the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) will discuss draft alternatives and solicit feedback in an open public meeting at the Holland Center (34250 N 60th St Bldg B, Scottsdale). Carefree and Scottsdale are co-hosts of this event. Click on the following link to view the MAG Open House Announcement. The announcement webpage also has links to an online survey and to view the presentation planned for this evening. Survey feedback will be accepted until July 24.
